Call for applications for the LoGov-edition of the Winter School of Federalism and Governance. The Winter School is a cross-border postgraduate program located in the heart of the Alps under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe. WINTER SCHOOL ON FEDERALISM AND GOVERNANCE 2021
The Winter School is a cross-border postgraduate program located in the heart of the Alps under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe. The 2021 edition will focus on “Federalism and Local Self-Government”
As a LoGov-training activity, staff, collaborators, or students that are affiliated with the LoGov partner institution could participate and apply. Candidates will still have to go through the standard application and selection process, Eurac has reserved LoGoov slots and can offer a small number of accommodations scholarship, and travel contribution that would be awarded based on merit and need. Furthermore, LoGov-participants do not pay for the Winter School’s tuition fee.
Dates and venues: 1 February – 12 February 2021
– The first week (1-5 February) takes place at the faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Leopold-Franzens-Universitat Innsbruck, Austria;
– The second week (8-12 February) takes place at the Institute for Comparative Federalism, Eurac Research, Bolzano/Bozen, Italy.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is difficult at this stage to plan major events in advance. The organizers hope that the Winter School 2021 can take place as usual. However, they reserve the right to make any changes to the program.
